Along came a SKS classmate, Mike Brower, also with a message in hand that he was looking for a college roommate. One day, at the University of Miami, Coral Gables (Florida), Jeff was posting a message on a bulletin board that he was looking for a college roommate. He was known as one of the five purveyors of gustatory goodies on the important Snack Bar Committee. He ran cross country on the varsity team, and played varsity basketball and track.
